Built to last, the tub drain's ABS body provides durability. It enables the freestanding tub location to be defined at the rough-in stage, allowing the tub to be fitted over a finished floor, eliminating the need for access below the fixture.
Designed with a testable feature, the tub drain comes with a snap-off test cap rated to 30 psi, enabling water, air, and smoke testing. The 2" DWV hub connection and the epoxy-coated, 18-gauge metal deck flange with holes to lock in thinset further enhance the product's functionality.
The tub drain rough-in kit includes a flanged brass tailpiece, an ABS adapter kit that helps attach to ABS bath wastes, a 2" x 1-1/2" ABS reducing bushing, a mortar/tile guard, an island drain assembly, and a cutting template.
